Alleppey, Kochi and Kovalam Tour Overview

5 Nights 6 Days Kerala tour with pickup from Kochi and drop at Trivandrum covering Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey and Kovalam. Alleppey, Kochi and Kovalam Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Kochi to Munnar

Arrival at Kochi Airport Railway Station or Bus Stand and transfer to Munnar. On the drive enjoy scenic lush green landscapes and visit famous waterfalls including Cheeyappara Waterfalls and Valara Waterfalls for breathtaking views and photography. Continue the journey to Munnar and check in to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Munnar Explore

Full day sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting key attractions. Activities include boating at Kundala Lake, experiencing the natural echo phenomenon at Echo Point, visiting Mattupetty Dam and Blossom Park, and touring a tea estate and coffee plantation to learn about tea making and sample local brews. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 3

Munnar to Thekkady

Check out from Munnar hotel and drive to Thekkady a renowned wildlife destination. Upon arrival check in and freshen up. In the afternoon visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary including a boat cruise on Periyar Lake and explore lush spice plantations to learn about cultivation of spices like cardamom pepper and vanilla. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4

Thekkady to Alleppey | Houseboat

Check out from Thekkady hotel and drive to Alleppey known for its backwaters and houseboats. On arrival check in to the houseboat and begin the cruise through serene backwaters enjoying palm fringed canals paddy fields and village scenes. Meals on board include traditional Kerala lunch evening tea snacks and dinner and breakfast on the houseboat. Note houseboat check in starts from 12.30 Noon and cruising time is till 5 PM and A C in bedroom is operational from 9:00 P M to 6:00 A M as per policy.

Day 5

Alleppey to Kovalam via Jatayu Park

After breakfast depart Alleppey and drive to Kovalam en route visiting Jatayu Earth Centre where you can take a scenic cable car ride to admire the worlds largest bird sculpture on Chadayamangalam Rock and indulge in available adventure activities like archery. Continue to Kovalam check in to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 6

Kovalam to Trivandrum Departure

After breakfast transfer from Kovalam to Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station for departure. Tour ends after drop at Trivandrum.

Confirmation of Tour Package is subject to remittance of 30% of the total tour cost in advance prior to arrival and balance amount should be paid on arrival before check in at the first hotel. Booking will be confirmed only after receiving the advance payment and based on availability of hotels mentioned. For Online Credit Card Payment 2.5% extra for the amount transferred bank charge.
